Biography
Prof. Bo Qin, Ph. D, is the group leader of chemical ecology at Department of Chemical Biology, Key Laboratory of Chemistry of Northwestern Plant Resources and Key Laboratory for Natural Medicine of Gansu Province in Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He got his Ph. Ddegree in 1999 and worked at Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica,John Innes Centre and Colorado State University as postdoctoral Research fellow in the area of natural products chemistry and biology. He began his research career in the field of chemical ecology from 2008 as a holder of talents project of Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Now, his research work is surported by National Natural Science Foundation, Key Technology R&D Program of China, and etc. So far, nearly 40 papers have been published on the journals such as Plant Signaling & Behavior, Biol. Invasions, Soil Biology and Biochemistry, Phytochemistry, J Chem Ecol, PNAS and Plant cell.
