Abstract | CeO2 and/or ZrO2 modified titania supports and the supported copper oxide catalysts were prepared by impregnation method using nitrate. Catalytic combustion of ethyl acetate has been measured in the temperature range 100–360 ℃, and the structural and properties were characterized by means of TPR, XRD and XPS technologies. The results show that CeO2–ZrO2 modified TiO2 support highly enhanced the dispersion of CuO phase, resulting in improving the catalytic activity and suppressed the form of by-product such as ethanol and aldehyde. The complete decomposition of ethyl acetate was achieved at about 280 ℃ with the 100% CO2 selectivity. |
