AbstractA multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) supported Pd catalyst has been prepared by conventional impregnation for the liquid-phase hydrodehalogenation of bromobenzene under mild reaction conditions. Compared with conventional supports such as activated carbon, Al2O3, SiO2 and MgO, MWCNTs as a catalyst support offer not only better performance but also a substantial reduction in the amount of Pd required.
