Abstract | A facile and versatile spin-coating method was adopted to fabricate transparent omniphobic coatings by infiltrating fluorinated lubricant into the uniform polytetrafluoroethylene nanoparticulate film. The lubricant-infused surfaces display excellent liquid repellency, good optical transparency, and show outstanding performance in self-cleaning, anti-corrosion, and anti-icing. Importantly, the liquid repellency of the omniphobic surfaces still prevails after various mechanical damages. |
