Abstract

A kind of transparent liquid was fabricated, which can form transparent superhydrophobic films on various engineering material substrates by spraying. The results showed the spray exhibits excellent thermal stability and mechanical stability, which are very vital for their promising applications in industry, such as antifouling, corrosion protection, and oil/water separation.
